A big thank you for the continued faves, still looking forward to an art trade!
No problem! I too am looking forward to an art trade as well, but I still foresee that it may have to wait until after the holidays before I can commit to it fully -^_^-...on a side note I did just attend a painting seminar last evening on flesh painting techniques!
How did it go, the only painting seminars I've been to are at gaming conventions, someone just told me there's a larger group that meets up in Chicago once a week to paint Warhammer, not my style, but it would be nice to attend to share ideas with them. I keep trying to find local painters here in northwest Indiana, but I think they're few and far between. :(
It went pretty well in my opinion. I'm not usually one for doing intense layering on flesh, but on the orks that we were painting I got a little more comfortable on the matter. I may post up some pics of the model I part painted. Also developed some ideas for glazing techniques after final layers to help smooth the transitions on a close up view.

Also I didn't realize we were so close geographically! I live in the far south suburbs of Chicago, Orland Park to be exact if you're familiar with it.
